A The Gopalpur Talash Social Welfare Society is a community-based organization established in 2010 with the primary objective of empowering underprivileged women, disadvantaged and physically challenged children, as well as helpless elderly individuals. The organization is dedicated to raising awareness about rights and assisting individuals in demanding their rights. Additionally, it conducts programs to raise awareness about health and food safety while providing educational support to children without guardians.
Operating in several villages across Baruipur, Bishnupur block in South 24 Parganas, and Chatna block in Bankura district, the organization focuses on fostering women's leadership within these communities. Its activities primarily revolve around providing health and nutritional support, implementing drinking water and sanitation programs led by women, and creating livelihood opportunities for women.
Furthermore, the organization offers life skills development training, vocational training in various trades, communication skills enhancement, and facilitates group formation. It also manages programs catering to the needs of physically challenged children and elderly individuals in need.
